I am a member of the Blind Bay Painters, the Salmon Arm Life Drawing Club, the Shuswap Art Gallery, the Federation of Canadian Artists and the Shuswap Lake Festival of the Arts.
My subject matter reflects my love of the wide open spaces of the natural forest, lakes and mountains that surround my mountain home and studio in Eagle Bay . I desire to express the passion that the colour and dramatic scenes of nature instills in me. As a Landscape painter I paint outdoors as often as possible. When in the studio I paint from sketches and photos from my outdoor excursions. I work mainly in acrylic and pastel.
